Please note, when I purchased this, it was all retail and about 2 years ago. thus, the prices at that time was significantly more. About 2.5x what it would costs now.
the factors for what I would charge is as follows:
1. used components(but used by a techie, I take care of my parts)
2. Totally assembled, proven to be in fully functioning condition for 2 years and going.
3. The parts are quality, not off the shelf variety.
so taking those in to consideration, my price is $500 excluding shipping.
Sure everyone would say, but you can get a quad core system for around that price. *shrug* If thats the route you wish, go for it. I'm just showing you what's offered here, the components I used, and how I came to this price.
Watch those who have never built a computer will start to chime in about how much cheaper it is to buy one off the shelf.
